VOC Treatment & Recovery
Praxair offers our customers a highly efficient treatment system to remove and recover VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) from gaseous process streams. The system uses cryogenic condensation with liquid nitrogen as the refrigerant to condense VOCs from process streams, so that you can both recover valuable compounds and meet stringent environmental regulations.

VOC Treatment & Recovery for Biotechnology/
Pharmaceuticals

For dilute streams or more complex mixtures, Praxair offers additional capabilities, including treatment by activated carbon adsorption with inert gas regeneration and solvent purification by distillation. These technologies can be offered alone or in combination with cryogenic condensation, depending on your particular needs.

Praxair provides cryogenic condensation units that are designed specifically for your process stream. The units are typically lower capital compared to other abatement technologies. And since the nitrogen does not come in direct contact with the effluent stream, in most cases the gaseous nitrogen can be recovered and reused elsewhere in the facility. The units are compact, skid-mounted and have very few moving parts.
